practice equipment

The practice is one of the most highly equipped in Ireland. The practice has 3 surgeries equipped with digital and conventional x-ray units, digital camera’s, a lead lined x-ray room containing a Siemens OPG and a Sirona Galileos CT Scanner. This CT Scanner allows the dental team to take 3 dimensional images of patients jaws. It is one of only 12 in Britain and Ireland.

To guarantee precision Implant Surgery and above all increased safety for the patient, the CT Scan taken by the Galileos Scanner allows for more precise assessment of bone quality, more accurate identification and measurement of nerves and other important structures. This ensures that procedures are carries out with exceptional efficiency and speed. The radiation dose using the Galileos CT Scanner is approximately 1.5% of the radiation exposure using conventional CT Scanner and the lowest possible radiation dose among products available internationally. Clients can therefore relax in the comfort of knowing the Practice provides dental procedures with safety, reliability and sophistication.
